Following the oil rig tour, the senators will tour ONEOK Gas plant. MEDIA NOTE: ONEOK’s safety policy requires guests to leave cameras and any other electronic media, including cell phones, inside the control building before embarking.
Friday evening, the senators will hold a roundtable discussion with industry and tribal leaders.
Saturday morning, the senators will tour a crew camp. Media invited onsite.
The senators will review area infrastructure. Media may follow in their own vehicles as senators review ongoing projects, including roads, schools, city and county buildings, community recreation facilities, medical clinics and hospitals, housing and other developing infrastructure. The tour will begin at the Long X Trading Post Visitor Center, 100 2nd Avenue SW, Watford City.

The Senators will hold a roundtable discussion with North Dakota and Minnesota agriculture leaders regarding the upcoming Senate-House farm bill negotiations. Hoeven and Klobuchar have been named to the farm bill conference committee. Both events will take place at the North Dakota State University Agriculture Experiment Station Research Greenhouse Complex.

In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, on Monday, Nov. 11, Senator John Hoeven will participate in the annual Veterans Day ceremony held in Fargo. The ceremony is slated to begin at 11 a.m. and will be held at the Fargo Civic Center.
Hoeven will provide an update about the farm bill during the North Dakota Farmers Union 87th Annual State Convention.
Saturday evening the North Dakota Farm Bureau will present Hoeven an award during the banquet portion of their annual meeting.
