Jobs, Economy and Fiscal Responsibility
As we navigate the complexities of today’s economic landscape, it's clear that we need a focus on reducing the deficit and debt while implementing pro-growth legal, tax and regulatory reforms that will create good jobs and opportunities for all Americans. The Trump administration continues to play a key role in promoting policies that stimulate investment, innovation, and job creation—fostering an environment where businesses can thrive and families can prosper.
Historically, the federal government has often acted as an obstacle to economic progress. Government doesn’t create jobs or drive economic growth; people do. The government’s role is to remove barriers and create a positive business climate that encourages job creation and economic expansion, as we’ve seen in North Dakota. We continue working to empower the private sector to invest, innovate, and create jobs to ensure that all Americans benefit from a growing economy and an elevated standard of living.
