Hoeven Announces Funding for Turtle Mountain Community College

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, chairman of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs and a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) through the Office of Family Assistance has awarded $1,717,460 to Turtle Mountain Community College. This funding will be used to support the Health Education Access through Rural Training (HEART) Project which supports training for low-income individuals to enter the health care field.

“Today’s funding ensures proper training and resources are available to those individuals interested in pursuing a career in health care,” said Hoeven.
