Thursday afternoon Hoeven will host a roundtable discussion with Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Chairman Matt Rose, Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, and North Dakota producers about improving rail service to meet increased shipping needs, especially with the upcoming harvest meaning an increase in agriculture shippings.
Thursday afternoon Hoeven will host a roundtable discussion with Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Chairman Matt Rose, Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, and North Dakota producers about improving rail service to meet increased shipping needs, especially with the upcoming harvest meaning an increase in agriculture shippings.

Friday morning, Hoeven will speak at the groundbreaking ceremony for Affinity Global Solutions to celebrate the opening of the company’s Levinson Technology and Business Center.
Friday afternoon, Hoeven will deliver remarks at the Quadrennial Energy Review (QER) Public Meeting, focusing on the infrastructure needs of the Bakken region. Senator Hoeven proposed holding regular four-year reviews of American energy policy to the White House two years ago and included such a review in his Domestic Jobs and Energy Act.
Monday afternoon, Hoeven will hold a round table discussion with Canadian Pacific Railway officials. The discussion will focus on rail delays and solutions to ensure agricultural shipments are caught up before the harvest season is fully underway.
Hoeven will attend a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday morning for a new post office in Williston. The senator has been working with the United States Postal Service to improve postal service throughout North Dakota.
