Hoeven will participate in the official ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the new St. Luke’s home in Dickinson.

The Senator will participate in a Freedom Salute ceremony held Saturday afternoon to welcome home the North Dakota National Guard’s 1919th Contingency Contracting Team which recently returned from deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Hoeven, along with military and community leaders, will participate in a sendoff ceremony for the North Dakota National Guard’s 814th Medical Company as the unit prepares to deploy to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The Senator will meet with NDSU officials and Bison coaches and players to present a resolution that passed the U.S. Senate recognizing the Bison football team on their championship season.

Hoeven will hold a press conference Thursday morning to highlight new permanent nutritional changes to the school lunch program. The senator will also visit with Century Elementary students, teachers and staff regarding these changes.

The Senator will hold a press conference in Mandan Friday morning to highlight changes to the school lunch program. He will visit with Mandan Middle School students, teachers and staff following the press conference.

Hoeven will hold a forum with Fargo area agriculture producers to brief them on this week’s progress on the farm bill. The U.S. House passed the measure Wednesday, and the Senate is expected to pass it early next week. Representatives from Senator Heidi Heitkamp’s and Congressman Kevin Cramer’s offices with attend the meeting.

Hoeven will hold a second forum in Bismarck along with Senator Heidi Heitkamp and a representative for Congressman Kevin Cramer to meet with area agriculture producers regarding progress on the farm bill.
