Wednesday morning the senator will deliver welcoming remarks at the Transportation and Trade Beyond Border Summit.

Senator Hoeven and Ambassador Gary Doer will hold a media availability to press for the approval of the Keystone XL pipeline.

Wednesday afternoon, Hoeven will speak at the Small Business Summit in Fargo. The senator is cosponsoring the event along with Sen. Heidi Heitkamp and Rep. Kevin Cramer.

Hoeven will lead a press conference to provide an update about his recent travels to Ukraine. The senator will be joined by area business leaders and trade officials who have strong ties to Ukraine.

Hoeven will meet with Task Force 21 regarding ICBM Issues.

Thursday afternoon, the senator will tour the new Erik Ramstad Middle School, then speak during the open house for the new school scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.

The Senators will showcase the great work UND is doing on UAS and highlight how North Dakota is one of the premier sites in the country for UAS because of the extensive education, research, and development of it throughout Grand Forks and the rest of the state.

The panel discussion, led by Heitkamp and Hoeven, will feature Congressman Kevin Cramer, Governor Jack Dalrymple, Lt. Media availability with FAA Administrator Huerta and Senators Heitkamp and Hoeven will take place immediately following the panel discussion.

Tuesday morning Hoeven will lead a roundtable discussion focusing on the medical care needs of veterans in western North Dakota.

Tuesday afternoon, Hoeven will meet with Statoil executives to showcase the company’s investments in North Dakota and a plan to help Europe become more energy secure. Following the meeting, the senator and executives will hold a news conference starting at 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Hoeven will hold a roundtable with the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce on the Farm and Small Business Expensing Tax Relief Act, which will adversely impact farmers and small businesses.
