Year-End Roundtable with Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce

On Wednesday, December 30, Senator Hoeven will host a roundtable with the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce to review North Dakota legislative priorities that he worked to advance this year and that passed Congress in December, including:

  • Lifting the ban on crude oil exports
  • Providing tax relief for small businesses and farmers
  • Providing regulatory relief for farmers and ranchers through stopping the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Waters of the U.S. regulation
  • Ensuring education funding and local control
  • Providing school meal flexibility in sodium and grain requirements 
  • Passing the five-year highway bill, which will provide North Dakota with more than $1.3 billion and enable more than 100 N.D. transportation projects to advance
