Senator Hoeven to Hold Law Enforcement, UAS & Small Business Roundtables with CBP Commissioner
EMERADO, N.D. – On Friday, August 8, Senator John Hoeven will host U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Rodney Scott in North Dakota. Hoeven and Scott will review border operations throughout the Grand Forks sector, which covers 861 miles of the northern border, and discuss opportunities to better leverage the region’s dynamic unmanned aerial systems (UAS) industry to both better secure the border and advance counter-drone research and development. The visit will include two roundtables that Hoeven is organizing with local law enforcement agencies and UAS and small business leaders. Media interested in attending the roundtable at GrandSKY are asked to RSVP to smeyer@grandskynd.com.
