Senator Hoeven & NPS to Reopen Theodore Roosevelt National Park Scenic Loop
MEDORA, N.D. – On Tuesday, November 25, Senator John Hoeven will join National Park officials to reopen the scenic loop in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park’s south unit. Hoeven has been working to fund and advance the 6.15-mile restoration and enhancement project since the road’s failure due to erosion, having secured $51 million for the effort through the Restore Our Parks Act, legislation he sponsored and helped pass as part of the Great American Outdoors Act. Interested media are asked to meet at the South Unit Visitor Center, from which the group will caravan to the scenic loop gate.
