Packet Digital Battery Manufacturing Tour

On Tuesday, February 21, Senator John Hoeven will tour Packet Digital’s new battery manufacturing facility, which is supported by a $8.5 million Navy research contract that Hoeven worked to secure for the company to develop smart batteries, chargers and power systems for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). The batteries being produced in Fargo will help extend flights times for unmanned aircraft, which would support a variety of missions including tracking and countering unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP).
