Friday morning, Senator Hoeven will take part in the dedication ceremony for the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station at NDSU. As governor, Hoeven worked to support the new, state of the art greenhouse and continues to support ag research in the Senate. The facility will allow for enhanced education and advance research in plant breeding, genetics, horticulture, entomology, plant nutrition and associated disciplines. As a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations and Agriculture Committees, Hoeven has been instrumental in securing the necessary funding to ensure that land-grant institutions have the resources they need to keep America at the forefront of agricultural research.
