Hoeven to Visit Site of Souris River Valley Flood Protection's 4th Phase

On Wednesday, January 26, Senator John Hoeven will visit the site of the Souris River Valley flood protection project’s 4th phase. Immediately following, the senator will convene a meeting with local leaders and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ officials to outline federal support for the project to date, including the $61.45 million award that Hoeven recently secured. Further, the group will discuss next steps in advancing the project’s remaining phases to provide comprehensive protection for the whole region.  

Media are asked to first gather at Minot City Hall, from which the group will depart for the site visit. The event will conclude with a media availability.
