Hoeven to Join Bill Signing Providing $3 Million for Veterans Memorial Center at Fargo National Cemetery

FARGO, N.D. – On Friday, May 2, Senator John Hoeven will join Governor Kelly Armstrong and Senator Scott Meyer and members of the Fargo Memorial Honor Guard for the signing of SB 2265, legislation providing a $3 million in state funding for the development of a Veterans Memorial Center at the Fargo National Cemetery (FNC). Hoeven has been working to coordinate efforts among veterans groups, local stakeholders and the VA to build a facility at the FNC that incorporates local input and adequately addresses the needs of veterans, their families and volunteers. To this end, Hoeven led the establishment of a working group and community plan to move the project forward.
