Hoeven, Talon Metals to Mark Critical Step in Developing Battery Materials Processing Facility in Beulah

BEULAH, N.D. – On Wednesday, May 28, Senator John Hoeven will join leaders from Talon Metals and Westmoreland Mining, as well as state and local leaders, in marking a critical step in the development of the Beulah Minerals Processing Facility. The project is supported by a nearly $115 million grant that Hoeven worked to secure from the U.S. Department of Energy, enabling the establishment of a battery materials processing facility that will help reduce U.S. reliance on foreign sources of critical minerals.
