General Atomics Flight Training Academy Groundbreaking

On November 9, Senator Hoeven, executives from General Atomics and state and local officials will celebrate the groundbreaking of General Atomics’ new $2.5 million training facility for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) pilots at Grand Sky, the new business and technology park in Grand Forks county. General Atomics is one of the world’s leading developers of high-tech systems, including the Predator and Reaper series of UAS. Hoeven has worked extensively to develop the Grand Forks region as a premier UAS hub in the nation, and this groundbreaking marks another exciting addition to the UAS industry in North Dakota.
