Senator Hoeven will mark the completion of Central Power’s 26.8 mile long transmission line powered by Verendrye Electric Cooperative. As chairman of Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee, the senator was able to secure funding for this project from USDA’s Rural Utilities Service. The senator will highlight the new line’s ability to provide reliable service to western and northern areas around Minot including households, businesses and the Minot Air Force Base.
