On Friday, April 3, Senator John Hoeven, chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee, will hold a video conference with U.S. Department of Agriculture officials, North Dakota producers and commodity groups to review the nearly $25 billion in agriculture assistance that the senator secured under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Hoeven is hosting the online meeting to ensure local farmers and ranchers are best able to access the assistance and to provide producers’ feedback to the administration.
