Hoeven Announces USDA Infrastructure Loan to Capital Electric Cooperative
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Office of Rural Development has awarded a $12,750,000 loan to Capital Electric Cooperative. Today’s investment will be used to develop the Cooperative’s headquarters facility as they continue serving approximately 20,000 consumers in south central North Dakota.
“This USDA loan will support Capital Electric’s facility development and strengthen their ability to continue supporting rural communities’ electrical needs,” said Hoeven.
