WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has awarded two grants to the North Dakota Department of Health:

  • $2,055,113 to support immunization and vaccines to eligible children.
  • $887,703 to support the state’s Tobacco Prevention and Control Program (TPCP) and its continued efforts reducing the negative impacts of tobacco.
