Hoeven Announces More Than $3.7 Million in Head Start Funding for Minot Public Schools

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded $3,785,050 to the Minot Public School District. Today’s funding, from the Administration for Children and Families’ (ACF) Office of Head Start, supports Head Start services to promote school readiness for children under five years old.

“Head Start provides important school readiness services to our communities,” said Hoeven. “Today’s funding will support educational, social and health services to further benefit children and families in Minot.”
