Hoeven Announces More Than $14.4 Million in Grants to North Dakota Game and Fish

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Fish and Wildlife Service at the U.S. Department of the Interior has awarded two grants totaling $14.4 million to the North Dakota Game and Fish Department. This funding was made available through the Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration (WSFR) program and will be used to support the state’s efforts to better care for and enhance the habitat of fish and wildlife across the state as well as provide informational and educational opportunities for outdoorsmen.

“This funding from the Fish and Wildlife Service to North Dakota Game and Fish will help ensure that generations of North Dakotans can continue to participate in and enjoy our rich outdoor heritage,” said Hoeven.
