Hoeven Announces Conservation Funding to Little Missouri Grazing Association

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, Ranking Member of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has awarded $648,131 to the Little Missouri Grazing Association. Today’s grant, through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP), will be used to restore and enhance rangelands in the Prairie Grasslands. Hoeven previously made the case to NRCS to support these efforts to help improve infrastructure within the Deep Creek watershed and enable local ranchers to implement strategies that will help ensure the long-term health of the land.

“Today’s funding will help enable local ranchers to ensure the long-term health of the pastures while empowering them to continue providing the high-quality food that our nation relies on every single day,” said Hoeven.
