Hoeven Announces Behavioral Health Grants for Tribes

BISMARCK, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs and a member of the Senate Appropriations Committe, today announced that the Center for Mental Health Services at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), has awarded funding to MHA Nation, Turtle Mountain Tribe and Spirit Lake Tribe. Today’s funding, equaling $97,402 for each tribe, will be used for substance abuse and mental health services.
