BISMARCK, N.D. – On Friday, April 24, Senator John Hoeven will address the state convention of the North Dakota Association of County Office Employees for the Farm Service Agency (FSA). Hoeven will outline his efforts to secure additional assistance to help producers weather challenging market conditions until the farm safety net enhancements he secured in the One Big Beautiful Bill come into full effect later this year. The senator will also discuss the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) reorganization plan, under which North Dakota will gain additional Agricultural Research Service (ARS) employees and projects totaling approximately $28.5 million in annual research.
