WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven today issued the following statement on the passing of former North Dakota Representative William E. Kretschmar:
“With 30 years in the state legislature, William Kretschmar developed an impressive record of service for his district and our state, having risen as high as the Speaker of the House. I am grateful for the years we had working together, and I will always look back on these memories fondly. Mikey and I extend our thoughts and prayers to his friends and family.”
