WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Defense Appropriations Committee, issued the following statement after voting against the procedural motion on legislation to provide assistance to Ukraine, Taiwan and Israel.
“I opposed the procedural motion on this legislation at this point, because we are still trying to get amendments to ensure the legislation strengthens our own forces as well as providing military assistance to important allies.”
