WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven issued the following statement after Congress passed legislation to fund the government through December 20:
“While the Senate Appropriations Committee has worked to approve eleven of the twelve appropriations bills, Leader Schumer has not brought them before the full Senate. We need to get back to regular order and debate and pass these bills on the floor. That is how we’ll be able to reduce spending and control our debt and deficit.”
