WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven today issued the following statement after the Senate confirmed Shalanda Young as Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
“Shalanda Young has served as Acting Director of OMB for nearly a year. In that role, she was responsive as we worked to secure the federal funding commitment for flood protection in the Red River Valley and the Minot region,” said Hoeven. “Additionally, she has committed to implementing legislation as passed by Congress.”
