FARGO, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven, chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee and Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) has awarded $139,000 to North Dakota State University (NDSU). This grant will be used to provide services and support for tribal students as they pursue higher education.
“This NIFA grant will provide NDSU with resources and services to assist tribal students and help ensure their success in college and beyond,” said Hoeven.
