Hoeven to Speak at Halifax International Security Forum
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Defense Appropriations Committee, will speak on a panel at the 17th annual Halifax International Security Forum in Nova Scotia, Canada to outline U.S. security priorities. Hoeven is part of a bipartisan Senate delegation attending the national security forum which brings together defense leaders from around the globe. Hoeven will speak on a panel today and is planning to meet with world leaders including both the Canadian and Colombian Defense Ministers.
“I look forward to joining my colleagues at the Halifax International Security Forum to meet with global leaders and build our shared security priorities,” said Hoeven. “Given the security challenges around the world and the threats facing our nation and allies, this forum provides an important opportunity to strengthen relationships and ensure our nation can meet its security challenges now and into the future.”
