Hoeven to Serve on President's Economic Task Force

BISMARCK – Senator John Hoeven released the following statement today after being selected as a member of President Trump’s Congressional Economic Task Force, which will help provide counsel to the President on the re-opening of America in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Senator, and a bipartisan group of Senators, spoke with the President earlier today and Hoeven also spoke with Larry Kudlow, the President’s Economic Advisor.

“We had a good conversation today about the importance of both beating the coronavirus, and having a plan in place to get our economy back up and running and Americans back to work as quickly and safely as possible,” said Hoeven. “I appreciate the opportunity to serve on the President’s Economic Task Force and look forward to working together to get Americans back to work.”
