Hoeven Statement on ERA

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven released the following statement on the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA): 

“Everyone should be treated fairly and with respect as required under the law. It is up to the States to determine whether they want to adopt a constitutional amendment, and in 2021 the North Dakota Legislature rescinded its support for the ERA.”
