Hoeven: Senate Approves Jovita Carranza as SBA Administrator
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven today issued the following statement after the U.S. Senate approved the nomination of Jovita Carranza as Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA).
“The SBA provides important assistance to startups and small businesses in North Dakota and across the nation, supporting a vital source of economic growth and job creation,” said Hoeven. “Administrator Carranza brings valuable experience to this position, with a strong record in the private sector and a depth of knowledge from her previous roles as U.S. Treasurer and SBA Deputy Administrator. We look forward to working with her as we continue advancing the expansion of our state’s economy, including our dynamic technology sector, which serves as the third wave in North Dakota’s economic growth.”
