Hoeven: North Dakota's Rising Population Due to Strong Economy, Pro-Growth Business Climate
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven issued the following statement after the U.S. Census Bureau released estimates showing North Dakota with a record population of 779,261 residents in 2022.
“We’ve worked hard in North Dakota to build a pro-growth business climate that attracts investment, creates good-paying jobs and supports a high quality of life,” said Hoeven. “As a result, our state has reached a record population of nearly 780,000 residents, while being one of the youngest states in the nation, showing our potential for continued growth. By advancing priorities like lower taxes, regulatory certainty, a low cost of living and public safety, we are continuing to build a strong and vibrant future for North Dakota.”
