LINTON, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven today presented a U.S. flag flown over the U.S. Capitol to the students, educators and families of Linton Public School in honor of their designation as a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School. The U.S. flag will be displayed along with the National Blue Ribbon School flag, a special symbol representing the school’s exemplary teaching and learning.

“Through hard work and dedication, the students, families, teachers and administration of Linton Public School have reached a level of achievement that stands out among schools across the nation,” said Hoeven. “Today, we congratulate and praise this community on Linton Public School’s designation as a National Blue Ribbon School, which recognizes their commitment to academic excellence.”

Linton Public School, along with Larimore Elementary School and Roosevelt Elementary School in Bismarck, were the North Dakota schools designated as 2022 National Blue Ribbon Schools. Since 1982, the Blue Ribbon School award has honored public and private schools across the country that display overall academic excellence or progress in closing achievement gaps.
