Hoeven: Environmental Protection Agency Awards $2.5 Million to North Dakota

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $2,514,478 to the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality (NDDEQ). Today’s grant will be used to perform quality assurance programs and activities in North Dakota related to clean air and water as well as address needs related to waste, underground storage tanks and radon. 

“This funding will support the state’s efforts to address environmental priorities and further enhance the quality of life for North Dakota residents,” said Hoeven.
