Hoeven: DOJ Awards Community Policing Grant to Cass County Sheriff's Department

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has awarded $94,125 to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department. The funds are made available through DOJ’s Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Office and will support the implementation of strategies to improve officer safety and wellness.

“We welcome this investment in Cass County’s law enforcement, supporting their essential service to the region while also improving officer safety,” said Hoeven.
