Hoeven Announces Research Funds to NDSU
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) has awarded funding to North Dakota State University (NDSU) for two research projects. Details are as follows:
- $49,250 to enhance research and extension programs on beef cattle production systems and develop improvements in beef cattle sustainability.
- $32,847 for NDSU’s Department of Animal Sciences to support research efforts regarding B-complex vitamins.
