Hoeven Announces More Than $3 Million in Head Start Funding
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Administration for Children and Families’ (ACF) Office of Head Start has awarded $2,058,371 to Mayville State University and $1,117,278 to Community Action Partnership in Dickinson. Today’s funds will be used to assist children in preparing for school through increased access to early-childhood education as well as health and wellness services.
“These awards are about building a strong foundation for the well-being of children and their families in the Mayville and Dickinson regions, supporting valuable services like those offered through Head Start,” said Hoeven.
