Hoeven Announces HHS Grant to North Dakota Department of Health
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Office of Minority Health (OMH), has awarded $300,000 to the North Dakota Department of Health. Today’s grant will be used to improve health outcomes for minority populations in the state and support the development and implementation of programs to further sustain improved health outcomes.
“It’s important that health care professionals have the tools to meet the needs of their communities, and this new grant from HHS will support efforts across North Dakota to improve programs that lead to better health outcomes for minority populations,” said Hoeven.
