Hoeven Announces Head Start Funding for Turtle Mountain
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded $3,107,060 to the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians. Today’s funding, from the Administration for Children and Families’ (ACF) Office of Head Start, supports Head Start services through the American Indian and Alaska Native Program.
“This funding will support school readiness and educational services through Head Start to further benefit children and families of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians,” said Hoeven.
