Hoeven Announces Funds for Medical Research at North Dakota State University
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute has awarded $435,000 to North Dakota State University (NDSU). Today’s funds will support research into the prevention and treatment of heart and vascular diseases.
“This award will support the continued good work of researchers at NDSU and is an investment in the future health and well-being of our residents,” said Hoeven. “It’s vital we continue working toward prevention and treatment of these diseases that affect too many Americans and their families.”
