Hoeven Announces Funding to North Dakota Department of Health

BISMARCK, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has awarded $1,661,044 to the North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH). This funding is awarded to the Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) program and will be used to support the department’s efforts to combat and respond to infectious diseases.

“As the response to the COVID-19 pandemic continues, today’s grant will support NDDoH’s critical efforts to combat infectious diseases in the state and will ultimately benefit the well-being of individuals and families,” said Hoeven.
