BISMARCK, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has awarded $403,556 to the North Dakota Department of Health. Today’s funding is available through the Preventative Health and Health Services (PHHS) Block Grant Program and will be used to support local preventative health efforts across the state.
