Hoeven Announces Funding for F-M Ambulance Service
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded $172,293 to Fargo-Moorhead Ambulance Service Inc. This funding was made available through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA) at HHS and will support rural emergency medical services (EMS) response efforts.
“Rural areas present real challenges to the delivery of emergency medical services. Today’s grant will support the hard work of medical professionals and first responders, and help ensure rural residents in the Fargo-Moorhead region receive the timely health care they need,” said Hoeven.
