Hoeven Announces Economic Development Funds for Lewis and Clark Regional Development Council

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Economic Development Administration (EDA) has awarded $400,000 to the Lewis and Clark Regional Development Council in Mandan. This funding was made available through theCoronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act and will be used to support redevelopment and revitalization efforts to strengthen and diversify the regional economy in response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. 

“As North Dakota continues to safely reopen the economy, this grant will support the Lewis and Clark Regional Development Council in their efforts to identify needs and implement solutions to further grow the local economy,” said Hoeven.
