Hoeven Announces COVID-19 Funding for Community Health Centers From CARES Act

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), has awarded $2,943,740 in funding to Community Health Centers in North Dakota. This funding comes from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act and will support health care professionals and facilities as they prepare and respond to COVID-19. Details are as follows:

  • Family Healthcare Center – $960,350
  • Coal Country Community Health Center – $695,270
  • Northland Health Partners Community Health Center – $650,630
  • Spectra Health Center – $637,490

“Today’s funding from the CARES Act will allow health care providers at these Community Health Centers to continue addressing the needs of those across the state as we respond to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Hoeven.
