Hoeven Announces $4.3 Million Cancer Research Grant for UND
WASHINGTON — Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded $4.3 million to the University of North Dakota (UND). The funds will be used to conduct cancer research.
“UND’s medical research capabilities help improve existing medical treatments and find new cures,” Hoeven said. “Today’s funding will help researchers at the university take previous findings and apply them to cancer treatment, potentially leading to more effective ways to treat those fighting cancer.”
