Hoeven Announces $30,000 Grant to Support Development Plan for Sykeston's Water System
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee and a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development has awarded a $30,000 grant to the City of Sykeston. The grant will be used to examine the city’s existing water system and develop a plan to update the deteriorated infrastructure.
“Today’s grant will help the City of Sykeston ensure that its water infrastructure can continue to serve local residents, maintaining their health and quality of life,” said Hoeven.
