Hoeven Announces $2.4 Million Grant for Devils Lake Airport
WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded $2,400,000 to the Devils Lake Airport Authority. The funds will be used to purchase aircraft rescue and firefighting safety equipment, and to rehabilitate two runways and a taxiway.
“Today’s funds will help shore up infrastructure at the Devils Lake Airport so that it can continue to support valuable commercial and general aviation,” Hoeven said. “The airport will also now be equipped with equipment to help ensure the safety of passengers, crews and aircraft.”
